CHICAGO
'CHICAGO' IS OUR KIND OF SHOW - This show is a pleasent little surprise. Director
Stephen Locklear has even eschewed the prosecenium stage in favor of half-round intimacy
and given the show a light, breezy gloss and a sly, tongue-in-cheek style. It work delightfully.
The characters, the satire and cynicism are lifted into prominence.
Freddie Brinster, Journal-American
This disagreeable tale is agreeably told, the dreary cynicism is brought off with jolly panache in
the ETC production of 'Chicago.'
Joe Adcock, Seattle P.I.
The comic -book angst is frequently engaging, the musical numbers are flashy and peppy,
and ETC deserves a continuing round of applause [for a ] highly ambitious project
undertaken with a great deal of local talent and energy.
